Not acceptable
Red Roof Inn & Suites MaconThe Inn is currently under renovations, the room that we prepaid for appeared to be renovated. We felt like we were in a room from the 1950’s with a Lennox air conditioner system in the room and in the balcony. I should have taken a picture. The Inn was very isolated, in a strip mall where all stores were vacant, could be new, who knows. You wouldn’t ask the front desk as the receptionist had zero personality. The worst part was seeing the fellow in the elevator with a gun in his back pocket. We checked out and went to the Marriot. Paid for two stays for the same night, a sense of comfort and safety was well worth it. I am very disappointed.
