Nice hotel and good breakfast
Hampton Inn Roanoke RapidsGreat location, and nice amenities. But I specifically booked a room with a king bed. But when we arrived, only a room with queens was available. I’m not sure how that happens but it made for a rough night sleeping. Also, they had some very unusual arrangement of bed linens. How about just sheets and a comforter? Breakfast was great.

It was fine
Red Roof Inn HardeevilleI was wondering about the place when I checked in and saw a sign that said no dogs in the office. There was an outside window to check in so it wasn't necessary to go in the office. Other than that the stay was fine.

Wouldn’t go back
Super 8 by Wyndham SanteeI have never written a negative review, as I believe it is better to speak to the person directly and offer an opportunity to improve a problem. This is the single worst motel I have ever been in. Best part was it was pretty clean, as it was being cleaned when we arrived. Property was in desperate need of renovation and repair, the bedding was wrong sized, shabby and cheap, towels were tiny and paper thin, toilet was about 8” off the floor, TP was on a hook behind the toilet, bathtub panels were bolted together and the entrance lobby was creepy and frightening. Who were they expecting? Don’t stay here!
