We were driving through and decided to make a quick stop. We saw a lot of dogs, but there was plenty of space to spread out. A short hike took us to our own dune where we could enjoy a little rest and fresh air with the dogs. They really enjoyed hiking in the sand, which was nice and cool on a sunny October day.

We were on our way to Hot Springs late at night without an overnight stop planned, so I booked this room last minute. Check-in was online, so we never saw anyone working, but our room was ready for us, and although small, it was perfect for the night. Not far from restaurants and downtown Hot Springs. There is a small but nice dog park on site, too.

The woman working was so kind and friendly to us. She helped us with our purchases and told us about a book she recommended featuring a Springer Spaniel, since we were traveling with ours.

The patio of the main restaurant (which is much fancier) was full, so we went down to this smaller building in the same parking lot and the staff told us we were more than welcome on the patio. It had been raining earlier, but the patio was covered and dry. We ordered a large pizza and it was absolutely delicious! The views are spectacular, too. It was just what we needed after a long day of travel and exploring.

Our dogs walked with us on the paved trails to overlooks. The views were incredible and the pups met several other dogs along the way.

Our Springer Spaniel chewed through her harness while on a 12-hour car ride to Edwards, so we were grateful to find a pet store near our hotel. The employee was very kind and helpful and let us try on multiple harnesses until we found the one that fit just right!

We took our small Schnauzer on the tour of the Oz Museum since we were able to carry him. What an incredible collection of memorabilia! Our larger dog stayed in the car with the AC on, but the woman in the gift shop offered to let her stay in a crate in the store while we took the self-guided tour.

While dogs aren't allowed in any buildings, the grounds were a great place for a walk with our two pups. We got to see Eisenhower's boyhood home and my husband and I took turns watching the dogs from outside the chapel, while the other went inside to see the Eisenhower tombs. Also a quick pit stop if you're traveling on I-70.

Multiple staff members came by several times to love on our two pups as we enjoyed dinner and drinks in the outdoor courtyard. Our dogs sat in the grass and had a bowl of fresh water. The brewery's logo is a paw in a hand. Seems fitting for such a dog-friendly establishment.

Everything here felt new and fresh. It was very clean. Grassy areas in the back were a bit muddy, but not the worst. Staff was helpful and friendly and breakfast was good!

If you like veggies, the Mitch can’t be beat! Umbrella tables on the beautiful Wall Street are nice. The perfect spot for dinner before a Spartanburgers game!
Our dogs were welcomed in to shop and the cashier came over to love on them.

Great selection of beer and on a dreary day, we sat inside with our two dogs.
We chose the adult-only night tour which was perfect for our pups.

The Thunderbird provided all we needed for a quick weekend getaway with our dogs to Savannah. Clean and comfortable, and convenient to walk throughout the historic district. We didn’t receive any of the pet amenities at check-in (other than treats at the desk), but the on-site fenced dog area was a perfect spot for our dogs to roam each morning while we sat at one of the outdoor tables and enjoyed our complimentary donuts and coffee. We would return!

The outdoor area is shaded and there are water bowls for thirsty pups. Great menu for breakfast (9-11 am) and lunch. No wait staff, so you’ll have to leave your pup outside while someone goes in to order.

The outdoor area is partly covered. There’s also cornhole and a lively atmosphere. The caprese burger was delicious!!

A huge dog-friendly covered deck and plenty of seats among the live oaks and garden, too. The food was great and our service was fantastic.

The patio at The Bodega is covered, enclosed when the weather's bad, and has heat lamps for cool days. The food menu is off the charts and the wine and beer selection is one of our favorites in Spartanburg. You can also pick up your food essentials for home while you're here. They host fun events like trivia, wine pairings and more. There is also live music on the weekends and the Friday night fish and chicken fry is amazing! There are water bowls for the dogs and they sell a selection of healthy dog treats and toys as well.

While there are only a couple of outdoor tables for pups, the food here is so worth it! Stop in for breakfast or lunch - you won't regret it! You can also get premade meals to go and the Blue Moon spices and sauces are the absolute best! Take home a jar of Yep! Shake!

We took our pups out for a special dinner at The Terrace. They each ordered from The Bark menu. You can order a la carte, or for $10 get a full meal - a protein, side and dessert. Our boys loved their grilled chicken, sweet potatoes and carrots and peanut butter banana bites! The human food was delicious as well and there is plenty of covered patio seating with great views and even fire pits for cool evenings.

We stayed here three nights ago and while our room was less than stellar (and they charged me twice for the one night) we just needed sleep and a shower, so we made do. I had already booked the same hotel for tonight and it was non-refundable, or I would have cancelled and booked something else. While we were at a concert at Red Rocks this evening I got a voicemail from the hotel letting me know there was a “maintenance issue” and our room had to be cancelled. I was about to begin looking for an alternative during the concert when the hotel called back and said, “sorry to give you a scare, but we do have a room for you, but it’s a different room type.” Ok, cool. It’ll work.
So after the concert we drove 30 minutes to the hotel and arrived at 12:18 a.m. only to be told they don’t have a room for us after all. No one bothered to call us back and tell us. So, here we sit in the hotel parking lot, exhausted, unable to find any other lodging options in the city, and it’s going on 1 a.m. We’ll be sleeping in the parking lot tonight before going to the airport tomorrow for a full day of travel. To say this has been a nightmare is an understatement. Avoid this place at all cost.

The hostess met us outside when she saw we had dogs. Another hostess came out and asked if she could take our picture with the dogs for us. We were promptly seated at an outdoor table out of traffic and a fresh bowl of water was waiting for Murphy and Peabody.

Stopped in with our two dogs and sampled some brews. Nice outdoor area with a fire pit, cornhole and plenty of seating.

We were seated quickly on the back patio and our server was beyond helpful and friendly. She immediately brought a bowl of water for the pups. Our server helped us decide what to order and it did not disappoint! Fried mushrooms, Fried Green Tomato BLT and the Supreme Seafood Platter were all top-notch! We were so full, but ordered their famous pecan pie pound cake to go. Fantastic!

We stopped in for lunch. My husband went inside to tell them we had three dogs and the server said he’d meet us around back. He was there with our dog-friendly table ready and there’s a great river view. Food was delicious too!

Amazing service, great dog-friendly patio. They brought our pups a bowl of ice water and staff stopped by to pet them and even showed us pics of their own dogs. Also - great food and beer!

So impressed with thee cleanliness and care taken at Boyd’s. We have been staying at a waterfront tent site and love it. The sites are a little close together, but not too close. Nice pool area, SUP and kayak rentals available. The staff is so friendly and dogs are everywhere! We will definitely stay again.
We had a great lunch on the large, open deck at Mata's. The manager came out to chat with us and told us about his Dalmatian featured on the menu. The food was delicious and our dogs loved sitting in the sunshine. They also have an extensive beer list.

I've been enjoying Ritzy's burgers, shoestring fries and ice cream my whole life. They have a couple of tables outside to eat with your dog. Nothing fancy, but the food is worth a visit.

We tent camped at this KOA for one night. Yes, it is right next to the interstate so you can hear some traffic, but that didn't bother us or the dogs. Many other campers had their dogs with them as well. Even the owner's Cocker Spaniel was around and welcoming pets.
